BodyMax Sport: Vaccination & Workplace Health Policy

Effective Date: October 2024

1. Purpose & Scope

At BodyMax Sport, the health and safety of our workforce is a fundamental priority. As a high-capacity OEM/ODM manufacturer operating in Sialkot, Punjab, maintaining a secure environment for our production teams, QA staff, and administrative personnel is essential to our operations. This policy outlines our standards regarding workplace immunizations and infectious disease prevention to ensure compliance with the Government of Punjab’s labor directives and Pakistan’s National Vaccine Policy.

This policy applies to all full-time employees, part-time staff, temporary floor workers, and on-site contractors.

2. Vaccination Guidelines & Requirements

To protect our workforce and prevent operational disruptions on the manufacturing floor, BodyMax Sport adheres to the following vaccination protocols:

  • Public Health Compliance: We align our requirements with mandates issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and the Punjab Labor and Human Resources Department.
  • Encouraged Immunizations: Employees are strongly encouraged to stay up to date with seasonal flu vaccines and any other immunizations recommended by local health authorities to minimize absenteeism and maintain a healthy production environment.
  • Pandemic & Outbreak Protocols: In the event of a public health emergency or a specific directive from the Government of Pakistan, the company may require proof of specific vaccinations (e.g., COVID-19) to access the factory premises.

3. Exemptions & Accommodations

We recognize that certain individuals may be unable to receive vaccinations due to specific medical conditions or sincerely held religious beliefs.

  • Requesting an Exemption: Employees seeking a medical or religious exemption must submit a formal request to the HR Department. Medical exemptions require documentation from a licensed healthcare provider.
  • Alternative Safety Measures: Employees with approved exemptions may be required to adhere to enhanced safety protocols, such as mandatory masking in dense areas (e.g., the sublimation printing and flatlock stitching zones) or regular health screenings.

4. On-Site Health & Hygiene Measures

Vaccination is only one component of our broader workplace health strategy. We maintain rigorous hygiene standards across all factory departments:

  • Sanitization Stations: Hand sanitizers are available at all major entry points, break areas, and specific manufacturing zones.
  • Ventilation: High-traffic areas, particularly around heat presses and dye-sublimation equipment, are equipped with industrial ventilation to maintain air quality and reduce airborne transmission risks.
  • Routine Cleaning: Workstations, machinery controls, and common areas undergo scheduled disinfection between shifts.
  • Illness Reporting: Any employee experiencing symptoms of an infectious illness must notify their floor supervisor immediately and is strictly prohibited from entering the factory floor until cleared by a medical professional.

5. Confidentiality & Record Keeping

BodyMax Sport is committed to protecting the privacy of our employees’ medical information.

  • Any vaccination records or exemption documentation collected will be stored securely and separately from standard personnel files.
  • Access to this information is strictly limited to authorized HR personnel and will only be used to ensure workplace safety and legal compliance.
